About Keith R. Romero Attorney and Counselor at Law
I’m Keith, a legal professional, and my practice is primarily focused on the areas of personal estate planning, small business consulting, and real estate transactions. I operate in the general Albuquerque NM area, but I am also licensed throughout the state of New Mexico and in the U.S. District Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. I have been a certified attorney for twenty-five years now, and I have helped several individuals and organizations manage their assets with ease and confidence!
Initially, I started as a trial lawyer and litigator. My experience in court trials offered me special insight into my skills of planning and consulting. I understand how things can play out in the courtroom, and I do everything in my power to protect my clients and their best interests when assisting them with their legal matters.
Currently, I’m in my twenty-fifth year as an attorney and counselor at law, and I would describe my practice as mature but continuously evolving and adapting. This is mainly due to the ever-changing legal system and the lifestyle of people subject to the system. To stay on top of the changes, my team and I need to continuously educate ourselves with the latest information and update our strategies to ensure our clients receive the best services.

When I look at my practice, I consider it a “boutique” type of firm, as I provide services for more of a general consumer. I feel there is a need in this area of the market and I can substantially satisfy it through my valuable services and reasonable rates.
I am proud of my ability to work quickly and deliver solutions within my clients’ budgets. At the same time, I’m delighted to help lower-income groups with my legal counsel, not just those with substantial wealth.
To add to the benefits of my services, I promise my clients personal service and commitment to their requirements. I value the needs of regular folks, and I do everything that I can to ensure that their requirements are fulfilled as per the law.
My many years of service in this industry have led me to become a seasoned professional will unique skills and the ability to provide excellent legal counsel for all. I have even learned how to adapt to the needs of my clients and offer them innovative solutions so that they can achieve their personal and professional goals.
Although my experience has offered me a fair amount of success, I still strive for the approval and satisfaction of every individual client. I sometimes feel that those other “industry” goals take one-off track of the real issue of providing personal service and value. To keep my services focused on my clients, I prefer to strive for their satisfaction instead of my own.
My aim for the future is to keep growing professionally, personally, and as a valued practitioner of the law. By improving my knowledge and skills, I look forward to helping many more individuals, especially those in challenging circumstances.
Currently, my average clients consist of those seeking legal counsel for the first time. I believe there is a genuine need for these individuals as they often think that legal counsel is something unaffordable and out of reach. But when they come to me, I ensure that they receive legal guidance at an affordable price, especially at the critical stage of their personal or professional growth.
By working in this manner, I have accomplished several small business growth objectives, but none of it would have been possible without the support and efforts of my team. To encourage them to keep doing the great work that they do, I make sure to reward them with personal accolades and monetary incentives.
From time to time, I also like to collaborate with other small practitioners in different practice areas. As a small practice, I want to offer others as well more opportunities to get their names out there and build strong businesses. In addition to helping these businesses grow, I also manage to help more people in need of legal services. Apart from this, I even do a fair amount of pro-bono and indigency work. That way, those in need have a chance to achieve their goals no matter how much they earn.
Additionally, I am also a big advocate of “green” practices, and I make every effort to reduce and recycle the waste created by my legal practice. After all, the world we live in today in borrowed from the future generations and we must do our parts to preserve it.
